One of the projects used to illustrate getting paid for reading out loud offered between $1900 to $3600 for 9 hours reading. In the video featured in this post, Kat uncovers a world that we all take for granted if only for the simple reason that we disqualify ourselves by our limiting beliefs. The word Kat talks about in the video is voice overs.
In the age of everything going digital, there's a great need for that skill. The good thing about it is that whatever voice you have, it can be used. The opportunities are numerous. Even Fiverr has a section for voice overs. An in this case, you are more in control as you are the one setting your price, versus the website mentioned in the video, though it pays higher.
Say you have an accent from a foreign country. Many would think it's going to work against them? No, not necessarily. Again, all voice are qualified, as there's a need for even the most unusual voice.
In conclusion, I'd say that this is a tremendous opportunity to get paid an excellent amount of money. The one challenge is that the better equipped you are the better your chances. That does make a difference. I'll take my chance for sure.
Have you ever tried voice overs?
Cheers, keep the faith and keep moving forward.
